Barış Altıok graduated from Karadeniz Teknik University and worked in Turkey as a construction superintendent for two years before moving to the United States. He received his master’s degree in architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver.
He is licensed to practice architecture in Colorado (USA), North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), and Turkey. He is a LEED Certified Professional and a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (USA), the Chamber of Architects of Turkey, and the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).
