YÜREĞİR CUMHURİYET NEIGHBORHOOD URBAN REVITALIZATION

Yüreğir Cumhuriyet Neigborhood is located in the heart of Adana, where the City’s highways’ North & South axis and West & East axis intersect. Being next to the Seyhan River, this area also hosts 5 star hotels and a shopping mall and a historic Roman Bridge still in use. Because of the urban sprawl and being located in 2. degree earthquake zone, buildings in the neighborhood do not meet the current building codes and vulnerable to natural disasters, thus Yüreğir Municipality chose this area for Urban Revitalization. The project site area is 137,5 hectares (34 acres). BARIŞ ALTIOK ARCHITECTS, provided the master planning of the site and architectural design of all the buildings in the site. Mixed-use buildings are designed consisting of Ground Foor Commercial areas, Office and Residential areas. 1,844 Residential Units 632 Ofis Units 191 Commercial Units Total of 2,667 Mixed use units with underground parking structures and storage/service areas totaling up to 587,000 m2 construction area.
